The facility and technology
San Rossore Dental Unit is located at Viale delle Cascine 152 in Pisa, beside the San Rossore Clinic. This collaboration supports care for patients whose treatment requires a hospital setting.
A centre within a healthcare network
The centre works alongside the San Rossore Clinic, which has operating theatres. When clinically appropriate — for extensive oral surgery, patients with systemic conditions or procedures requiring an anaesthetist — treatment can be planned in an operating theatre in coordination with the clinic.
The nearby San Rossore Sport Village is also part of the local health and wellbeing network.
The rooms
- Dedicated treatment rooms, including a room designed for wheelchair users
- A medical office for examinations and consultations
- A dedicated sterilisation area
- Reception and waiting areas
- On-site parking and accessible routes to the practice
Digital diagnostics and planning
Digital imaging helps the team assess a case before treatment and explain the findings to the patient. In surgical and implant cases, digital planning supports assessment of bone volume, anatomical structures and implant positioning.
Travelling from outside Pisa
Accommodation near the centre can be useful when treatment requires several appointments. How we organise care for patients travelling to Pisa →
Clinical indications, the location of surgery and timing are determined individually after examination and tests. Operating theatre availability depends on clinical assessment and the San Rossore Clinic's schedule.
